Nassau County Homeowner Exemption Liaison Program In-Person
The Nassau County Department of Assessment’s HELP Program provides homeowners with a convenient way to submit, renew, or pick up property tax exemption applications without having to visit the Department’s Mineola office. No registration is required. At this event, knowledgeable staff will be available to:
Distribute and take in applications for property tax exemptions, including Senior Citizen, Veterans, Disability, and STAR programs.
Answer general questions about eligibility and required documentation.
Offer a streamlined, in-and-out process to make applying or renewing exemptions as simple as possible.
Please note: They do not make copies of documents. Be sure to bring all required paperwork to be submitted along with the application.
